He was the only one I could find............yep I was desperate.
The mortar works look like he had a blindfold on.......so I’m not that keen on having him back.
I can tidy the tiles up as some of them have just slipped down.......any tips on mortaring up the sides?

Thanks to Datarebal and Barthy for their advice on our Porch leak back in October. They suggested removing some tiles either side of the porch roof valley to have a look.
I eventually found a local roofer who came last week. He said it would take him two days.

mortar was replaced 5 years ago by a local roofer. He didn’t spot the missing lead welt/tilt
I’ve added some extra pics showing the complete porch, valley mortar, damp area, wet valley boards, wet membrane.

The weather here is not so good for removing the porch valley tiles this next week
Just wondering if I could remove the lead valley mortar fillets and use a mastic sealer to make a temporary welt down each side of the lead to tide me over the winter?
