Hi I really need your help again, my tumble dryer has stopped spinning but is making a noise so i took the top and side off and discovered that the belt has partially ripped and is quite slack and is not turning the drum, I have found the right belt on ebay to fit the hotpoint condenser dryer...

Hi, :lol: tumble dryer is now working :lol: but it is making a tapping sound on a few revolutions for about 30 seconds and then goes back to a normal level but the main thing is i can dry my little uns bedding thank you ever so much for being so kind and considerate enough to help...

Hi rocks, i will get my hairdryer out... I have just put my arm right in and pulled out loads of really wet gunk, now i will arm myself with the hairdryer and the unit is already drying as i cleaned it earlier, right I took the screws off the back panel and lo and behold the metal insert...

also I have just realised that the clear plastic tubing at the back of the dryer was not attached to the top, this must have been done when an engineer came out over a year ago when the drum was noisy!!!
