Hi In my kitchen I want to lay plywood prior to laying vinyl tiles. The floor is concrete but not smooth enough to lay tiles directly to it. What is the best way to fix ply to the concrete. Should I also lay a DP membrane down first? Hope someone can advise!! Thanks

Hi I have an area of penetrating damp halfway up a wall. I've been told to use a sand/cement render with a salt retardant additive. Seems to fit with the advise above. When I remove the existing plaster should I be removing it right back to the brickwork? Cheers J
