yeh common fault,pcb usually stops the ch working on this boiler.usually bad joints on back of pcb and top left of pcb

is it a wireless thermostat you have? also check on your boiler on the front you should see a radiator sign and it should be a red light on next to it

it sounds like system still airlocked.first thing to try now is to shut off all your other rads and just leave the problem radiater on ,it then should push through and start circulating again,once hot ,open up your other rads

u should see a 'd' symbol when hw being used or is on preheat mode and a 'c' symbol when ch on if ur not seeing a 'c' then promblem with external controls not calling for heat,also check u have no dripping hw taps ,as if so this will leave boiler in hw mode

hi ,would'nt worry about flow or return u could have problem with ur main heat ex split causing heating water into hot water side of heat ex

could be hot water temp sensor being silly causing the burner to modulate up and down as it doesn't no what temp its at also could be flue problem is the flue on your boiler standard through the wall type or does it go vertically upwards

you can do it any of them ways as the timer needs to call for heat on both circuits for the boiler to fire

get some more quotes seems steep ,ifs its one off and one on straight swap you'll proberly get done cheaper

not really a diy job as gas valve needs removing to access the brass so u can remove the guts of the valve ,if u carnt put up with the noise get a gas safe engineeer to sort for u.

you'll find that the right hand brass block behind the pump is causing your fault.
