I am corgi registered but don't install cookers very often.
I was just wondering if there was anything in the regs that prevents me from installing a bayonet fitting without using a backplate? As long as the pipe is clipped and secure I don't see an issue....but always like to check these...
When connecting a bayonet fitting for a new cooker, is it okay to use a straight 15mm compression to half inch BSP coupling rather than souldering on the wall plate and screwing the bayonet fitting into that?
The problem is that with the normal wall plate the fitting sticks out too far and...
Is the TRV multi-directional? Some of them are one way and should only go on the flow. Is there an arrow on the side of the valve pointing in both directions?
