    Cloud 9 Cumulus is the best underlay on the market by a mile in my opinion. It seems to win the Best Underlay Award every year and most fitters I know have it installed in their own homes, which tells its own story I think.

    You'll find most of the fitters in the North East, Markie, will charge more for solid wood and engineered (by a long way) than they will for laminate. A lot of fitters I know simply won't entertain fitting cheapy B & Q junk laminate. We charge more because we wouldn't say it takes the same...
