I did ask for the to change it to a wet verge however the developer basically said the roof installer said he installed it as per manufacturers recommendations and consequently we've done our bit! We also live in a rural and exposed location so wind and wasps could be a problem.

After the heating has been on and the temperature on thermostat reached, the heating then comes on for about 1 minute and the off for about 5 minutes and it continues to do that for the rest of the evening. Is it normal for the heating to cycle like this so frequently?

Thanks for your response, I am meeting the roofer next week so lets see what they have to say. I need a report for the NHBC however I am not expecting the roofer to say yes thats a poor job.

The roofer is apparently coming out next Tuesday to view the roof, I am not expecting much tbh. I suspect they will say there isnt anything wrong with it. I have asked Sandtoft Techincal to view the roof and produce a report - then i'll send that to the NHBC.
