Sorry mate I havent a clue what a diverter valve looks like, where is it and is it visible?

It starts when the boiler is switched off, it starts off slow and then becomes a rapid metallic clicking noise. The only way to stop it is by turning off the main power supply switch on the wall. During the heating or water being on there is no clicking sound? Regards Mick

Sorry yes its a Baxi Solo

Can anybody help. My Baxi Boiler which is 7 years old, as started to make a constant and annoying clicking noise shortly after it as switched its self off, this goes away when it is switched on again. Any thoughts on what could be the problem? Regards Mick

I have a Baxi heating/Water Boiler which is 6 years old. This last week it as started to make a loud continues clicking noise. It starts shortly after the boiler as ended, after about 5 minutes it starts to click intermittently then it becomes a constant clicking noise until I switch the tho...

This morning my Baxi boiler started to make a constant loud ticking noise, its ok when the water/heating is on but after a few minutes when off, the ticking starts slow then gets faster untill it is constant, any ideas what this might be? Regards Mick B
