sounds like a blocked matrix especially if its hot for a few seconds and then goes luke warm, i have a scenic and its got a bloody good heater, watch out for oil in the water, abs light not going off due to cracked target rings on the driveshafts
What i would do is check that you don,t have a drain on the battery or get someone else to do so, a 1 amp drain on a battery over a week wont help it make sure you pop the front off the radio etc if it has a light on it that does not go off with the ignition.

Hi just fitted new consumer unit to replace old ceramic fuse type, wired ring main and immersion and cooker etc to rcd side and it trips all the time.
even if i switch off all mcb's on rcd side of unit and then turn on just the main rcb its trips off, if i run everything from normal non rcd...
