What I meen by prep is; does the ply have to be sealed with anything?

Hi everybody. Im having lino layed in my kitchen and bathroom and want to keep the labour costs to a minium so im going to rip up the tiles and carpet my self. Just wanted to know what prepration needs to be done to the ply underneath the existing floor coverings. :mrgreen:

For external render I ment could I use external grade pva and an other additive like rapid hardener/ frost proofer. If I use an sbr additive instead of waterproofer can I use a frostproofer as well?

Well pva to add to bond strength and help adhere to background and the waterproofer or frost proofer to do there job.

Does anyone know if I can use pva in a sand and cement mix alongside other additives such as waterproofer or rapid hardener? Thanks for your time fellas

Hi i'm quoteing to ply out a loft aprox 80 sqr m. The client wants to use it for light storage. Need to know what depth of ply to use. Joists are aprox 350mm apart. Thanks for the help
