Couldn't you not screw into the mortar line instead of the bricks. The only problem is with no more nails is it would take longer to clean off and could do a lot more damage than just four or six screw hole.

Put the 72mm hole saw cutter inside the 85mm hole saw cutter so then you are using it as a guide there should be enough thread on the arbor to do it.

Put some tape over the keyhole to see if its coming in from there.

You can either get a joinery company to do it or the way i like the most which is merlins way bespoke. :P

Can the door be opened from the inside once it is locked if no then it is a not allowed due to you cannot escape. Its a fire exit for a reason.
