The only help I can offer is that you should get a corgi guy in who is familiar with this particular boiler as they are known to be dangerous from a carbon monoxide point of view (in certain circumstances) ... You should not attempt to repair this boiler yourself

when H/W is on (to run a bath) the pilot light clicks and drops very quickly and returns very quickly.

Got that book and yes would recommend it highly....... but having real time access to working engineers on here is awesome.

Excellent question bster, I also have the same "mission" .... an in depth understanding of boiler electronic's is vital to becoming a good engineer and it's good to see the experts here sharing their knowledge
