Already got the new back box sorted, its wall mounted so easy enough. Wye aye man. So its ok just to ignore one of the earth terminals then? No safety issues by doing that?

Have a single socket that I want to replace with double socket. Is this possible with the existing wiring? The new socket has one each terminal for live and neutral and 2 for earth, but the existing wire to the single socket has one earth. Can this be done safely. Sorry complete novice...

YAY!! :D :D Used some precision parts cleaner and a bit of WD40 and the fan running freely again. Everything working again (for now anyway). Lets just hope it lasts. Thanks everyone

When I switch the heating on the fan loks as though its trying to start up but then sticks

Took the front off and the fan (or what I assue is the fan at the top of the boiler) is not working.
