And the tiles will stick?? So I don't have to use tile adhesive at all? A friend told me today but wanted to double check here. he said leave the tile to set on the wet mortar and when the mortar dries the tile will stick to it. it will work?

Going to start tiling a small fl;oor area. the surface is uneven. can I lay my floor tile on the highest point, bedded into a 1 inch layer of ordinary sand and cement and leave it there to set and then level the remaining areas (which are out by 1 inch) using sand and cement, setting the tiles...
That is just disgraceful - i agree that the tiling does look bad, but the doors look even worse. Ive never seen anything like it :shock:. If I was you, i'd take those doors off and skip them. I couldn't live with doors that looked this bad.
But, what would happen if you used undiluted PVA on a ply background?
Sorry, but is it possible to just ask a little question as it's the same subject? Is it bad to use undiluted PVA on a surface prior to applying concrete/ mortar? Already done this and seems a little damp after 1 week.
