    Broken multi point lock

Thanks for your diagnosis. Any idea how I get the door opened so I can work out what I need as a replacement?

    Broken multi point lock

The handles on either side are identical both in terms of look and functionality. Both are NOT working as they should.

    Broken multi point lock

The locking mechanism on our front door has broken. The door is about 10 years old and has a multi point locking system. The handle has to be lifted before the key can lock the door. Last week the handle became floppy and today the lock has stopped working altogether. The door is closed...

    Front door locking mechanism stiff

We have a timber core, sheet steel sandwich front door with a G-U lock. It looks like it is a G-U uPVC DOOR LOCK 2 Hook. Intermittently the locking mechanism will not engage properly and when the handle is lifted it stops short of a full lock UNLESS you give it a hefty lift in which case it...

Dirty and Clean Water in Heating System

So if they have been part full of air for a long time (since say last January) that may have had an effect. I leave the system to run for a new days and then check the water again. Thanks Andy

Dirty and Clean Water in Heating System

I could do it but only if really needed, which is the point of my question - slightly confused by one radiator being clean and two dirty.

    Noisy Megaflo system

Thanks Dave. I cannot leave it open manually as it always returns to the same position however it has a lot of movement in it before anything is activated.

    Noisy Megaflo system

The noise certainly sounds like either a pump running or water flowing under pressure. How do I know when the 2 port valve is open? Also worth noting that the noise appears at times and goes away at times but appears when the timer is showing off for both HW and CH. So if the time varies...

Dirty and Clean Water in Heating System

This is a sideline problem to another thread I have posted: //www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1069461#1069461 Whilst we have been trying to sort the problem in the other thread we realised that three of of upstairs radiators. My wife bled the radiators and noticed that the...

    Noisy Megaflo system

The system is still noisy when the boiler is off. A few other points which may help diagnose the problem: 1. We used up all the hot water but forgot that the boiler timer was switched off. The system then went through the noisy stage after which there was still NO hot water. So it is not...

    Noisy Megaflo system

Some development today. SWMBO was in the house when the noise started again. It sounds like the hot water system is running although the water heater is isoltaed in the kitchen (well the switch is off). She then ttripped each circuit breaker one at a time until the noise stopped. So it...

    Noisy Megaflo system

Well apparently this morning our system continued to make loads of noise - almost as if the system was working but without the boiler being on. So following the recommended maintenance has not worked. Someone has suggested that there the system may not be correct electrically. Any ideas?

    Noisy Megaflo system

I have a Heatrae Sadia Megaflo CL210 system. It regularly is noisy with a sound of either flowing water or pressure balancing. This happens on a random basis when the boiler is off and there are no taps open. It is noisy enough to be heard in the adjacent bedrooms. This is our first...
