    Grohe Relaxa fitting

I've just had to dismantle a Grohe Relaxa shower head and in doing so the brass fitting at the end of the head that connects to the water supply has been damaged. I've done a search for spares but drawn a blank. Anyone know if they're available and if so from where. Thanks in advance, NeilC

Fitting waste trap - no tray

I'm currently building an open shower in the corner of a largish bathroom. The floor is concrete on brick supported by reinforced concrete beams above a cellar (this is in Spain by the way) I plan to make the floor to a fall using cement sealed with 'gaucho' - a thick paint on rubber membrane...

    Electric showers in Spain

Further to the above I've just come across this on a website: "The actual voltage tends to be over 230V, whereas in Spain it is usually well under, and can be as low as 206V. The capacity ("potencia") which is controlled by a trip in your main circuit breaker box. Common potencias are...

    Electric showers in Spain

I contacted Mira a while back and they said they wouldn't guarantee it in another country. They don't sell them in Spain could it be because of the lack of earthing there? I can see no reason apart from that not to fit one providing I hammer in a hefty earth rod. What d'ya reckon.

Tiling on tiles - which adhesive?

Thanks Steve, Sorry didn't say it's floor tiles and I'm going to be overlaying with standard ceramic ones. It really isn't practical to lift the old tiles, I tried taking a couple up and they came up with literally an inch or more of concrete stuck to them, the tiles themselves are 20mm thick. I...

Tiling on tiles - which adhesive?

I have a house in Spain which is tiled upstairs and downstairs with old heavy tiles made from some sort of polished aggregate. I want to re-tile over the top of these as they appear to be set in some sort of concrete and lifting them would be a nightmare. My question is which is the best sort of...

    Direct connect to fuse box

Very basic stuff - I need to have a dual socket outlet in the same room as the fuse box is located. I can't add a spur to the ring main as the nearest socket is through a 3 foot thick stone wall, can I just connect it straight to fuse box and if so how?
