Have tried disconnecting the shower hose from the unit and the water is dripping from the connection, does this mean a faulty valve or perhaps valve put in wrong....any advice welcome.

Just had new Mira mixer shower fitted and it is constantly dripping day and night. Took off the shower head and can see from the hose every few seconds small amount of water spurting out. Any advice would be welcome and hoping its an easy fix??
