The price is not putting me off, but it seems that there is a recuring theme on the scratching, dust and imperfections of this material. Is it really that prone to scratching? I thought being mfc it would be hard wearing.

Do you think its possible to get a good quality finish without the aid of spraying equipment.
I know that a lot of sanding would be needed between layers of primers and top coats, but I thought that was only possible with guns.
