This could work, but I'm not sure it'll hold the panel far enough away from the window sill so that it doesn't overlap it.
How does one find out the thread?
Clamping it there as it allows me to non-permanently clamp in an inconspicuous location without having to drill whilst still maintaining...
I have a Eufy Solar Panel that I'm looking to clamp into the position in the picture, using the edge of the window sill to clamp to. There is a screw hole on the back of the panel (also pictured). Want as little of the clamp visible as possible from the top side of the window sill.
Obviously...
It's not a rectangular shape. 84mm bottom, 73mm at the top. When cutting I always do a couple of mm shorter to allow for measurement/cutting inaccuracies, which would leave me at 71mm.
71 -> 84mm is quite a large gap.
Note: I am a very new DIYer, so I might be "doing it wrong"
I've just measured between the wall and the side of the carcass where I'd be putting one of the MDF panels for the "fake" wall. It's 84mm wide at the bottom and 73mm wide at the top...which I think is from the uneven wall as from what I can see with a spirit level, the wardrobe itself looks...
Thanks.
I've just measured between the wall and the side of the carcass where I'd be putting one of the MDF panels for the "faux" wall. It's 84mm wide at the bottom and 73mm wide at the top...probably from the uneven wall.
The means I'll probably have to cut my panel 71mm which leaves a 13mm...
I have a very recent new build with very good insulation and underfloor heating.
I'm constructing some Ikea PAX wardrobes, putting them flush against a wall and using MDF to frame them to appear like they are built in.
So far I've taken off the skirting board, built the wardrobes and screwed...
I've used 3 coats of Everbuild 403 CONCRETE HARDENER & DUSTPROOFER on my floor and it's come out really patchy. I can't tell whether I've used too much in places or too little in others.
What I can say is that there is now little dust...
Is this the expected result?
Looking to seal my concrete floor. I got recommended this based on the floor I have:
BMP366 (top left): https://www.dk-holdings.co.uk/pdf/flooring/index.html#p=36
They don't have the 5L in stock and I don't want to buy the 25L so I am looking for something equivalent that I can get from...
I have a concrete floor in my garage that is unsealed. Its very dusty. We had a treadmill in there that was kicking up dust so the walls are caked in dust too.
Garage is about 3m x 5.5m.
Want to sort it out so it isn't dusty anymore and you can use the treadmill in there.
Going to get some...
I'm having trouble visualising, would you put this on the back wall or all 3?
Well my worry now is that its really hot - I guess now is a good time to do it cause it will shrink rather than expand. The temperature in the room will vary right?...or am I missing something.
I've got two of these: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/platsa-chest-of-3-drawers-white-fonnes-white-s49277247/
I'm going to get a solid ash worktop to go ontop which is ~2600mm x 635mm x 40mm. This will be touching 3 walls.
Got a few of questions:
1. Was planning on putting a bead of caulk around...
