i replaced my old shower unit with a new creda unit, everything went well on the installation until i turned it on. there was power going to it but there was no water coming out. can anybody help me with this.

I've replaced my old shower unit with a new Creda shower. everything went well installing it, no leaks and the electrics were no problem. then I turned it on. the electric power light came on but there is no water flow at all. can anybody tell me what the problem might be?
