Ah, I did wonder about that. Is it possible to swap it out without draining the system? And if so, are they a standard size, as I'd like to have a replacement ready before attempting it.

I have just found a slight weep on one of my lockshields, where the screw is that controls the flow, its one that takes a large Allen key.to open it, other than replacing it, any way to stop.it leaking?

It’s just going to a relocated double socket. The room in question has had the floor level raised to match the room next to it.

It is MDF, appreciate that ideally it should be replaced, but looking to fix it.

We have a damp issue on this wall and after removing the plaster to investigate, I found this object in the wall, it appears to have a pipe coming into it from below. Any ideas what it is? The house was built in 1909.
