Ah, I did wonder about that. Is it possible to swap it out without draining the system?
And if so, are they a standard size, as I'd like to have a replacement ready before attempting it.
I have just found a slight weep on one of my lockshields, where the screw is that controls the flow, its one that takes a large Allen key.to open it, other than replacing it, any way to stop.it leaking?

We have a damp issue on this wall and after removing the plaster to investigate, I found this object in the wall, it appears to have a pipe coming into it from below. Any ideas what it is?
