Replaced the cold water fill valve and cleaned the terminals for the display board as suggested. 1 week on all seems to be OK. Thanks again!

Thanks for reply, got a heating engineer to sort it in the end. Had to replace a section of pipe under the floor that was clogged with limescale.

Can't get decent pressure from any of the hot taps. Combi boiler has had heat exchanger renewed as scaled up but still not getting pressure from the hot taps. Guessing some limescale may have got dislodged but not sure best way to flush out. Any suggestions please?

Woke up this morning to a flooded utility room! The machine, although switched off had continued to fill with water and was overflowing from the open drum door. Have isolated the water supply to the machine as a temporary solution but does anyone know what the problem might be and whether...

OK, tried that but it hasn't worked. Removed filters and let the HW run through for several minutes but flow remains significantly less than CW. Shower runs perfectly on cold setting and when temp increased works ok to a point then the pump starts to struggle and the supply peters off...

thanks. I fitted it yeasterday so it hasn't worked yet. I have a full bore isolation valve in loft above shower and have tried disconnecting it to check water is getting through but just a trickle even after some time. Have run water back through the pipe so I know it's not blocked...

I've fitted a few Salamander pumps without issues. They have a decent Warranty/Tech Helpdesk too which is incidentally the same one that the Screwfix "Flomasta" pumps have. Presumably this means that they are Salamander pumps too? And cheaper option.

I've just fitted a Mira Vigour Thermostatic power shower but there doesn't appear to be enough hot water being supplied to the unit. The instructions state "Avoid routing the high level hot feed pipe upward to the same level as the cold tank e.g. into loft space, as air locks may result."...
