Cannon RG1 Foldaway Grill - broken motor

UPDATE: OK so I have found a local company who can re-wind the motor to fix it, but I have another problem now! 2 of their guys came out to look at the foldaway grill, but they (as well as me) could not work out how to remove the electric motor. They said an alternative was for me to...

Cannon RG1 Foldaway Grill - broken motor

Hi, The previous owners of our house kindly left a Cannon RG1 foldaway gas grill on the wall and we have been lucky enough to enjoy some excellent rotisserie'd chickens.... Until the motor turning motor went bang last time we used it. Does anyone know where or how I can get the motor...

Rads upstairs need constant bleeding after new boiler instal

No if I don't bleed I don't need to top it up either. To be honest I've stopped bleeding it regularly as it makes no lasting difference. Plumbers hopefully coming round later this week...

Rads upstairs need constant bleeding after new boiler instal

Hi, Sorry I missed a couple of questions earlier. I have spoken to the plumber this morning and he confirmed it is indeed a pressurised sealed system. He is going to come round later this week and also get the bioler manufacturer to come and visit to check the boiler is not the cause. If...

Hi thanks for the replies. The pressure gauge is next to the expansion tank which is positioned on the floor under the wall mounted boiler. Yes I said to the installer recently it's approaching time where we might need to get an independent third party plumber to take a look which clearly...

Rads upstairs need constant bleeding after new boiler instal

OK thanks for this tip. I'll ask my wife to do this now and i'll be able to see the result this evening. Cheers. Edit: how long would I need to leave the tarnished penny in the water for it to cleanse if there is still some cleaner in the water? Thanks.

Rads upstairs need constant bleeding after new boiler instal

Morning! No I haven't done the match test which I read about last night in similar posts, but certainly there is no smell to the air that comes out when I bleed it. I'll try the match test this evening.

Yes when the heating is off. It's only the top 1/4 of the rads which are full of air.. Does this help?

Rads upstairs need constant bleeding after new boiler instal

Thanks for replying. Yes some of the pipes are under the floor. No I don't need to fill up the system with fresh water much, despite the constant bleeding. Above / connected to the expansion tank is a little valve which allows me to add water with a pressure gauge, but the pressure doesn't...
