Hi, I have a Worcester Boiler Heatslave 20/25 that started locking out yesterday. I can reset the boiler and it works for a short period of time (seems to be getting shorter every time I reset).
I've checked the water pressure and all good, any ideas on what the problem maybe?
Cheers,
Steven
Thanks all - just an update - temp fixed now applied and working, thanks for everyone's input, much appreciated.
I think I'll install one of the smart stats at some point but will just keep the temp fix for the time been.
Thanks for the additional info all, much appreciated.
I can see where the programmer wires go into the main PCB board as follows, but not sure exactly what I need to change to do a temp fix, happy for any input.
Thanks for the help - will take a look into the replacement control panel.
In the meantime is there any way of manually triggering this - I suspect not but worth asking. :)
Cheers - I've attached a picture of the control panel and normally the light circled in red would be on.
Yes, currently cold water comes out of the hot water tap when turned on.
Thanks - will allow the boiler to cool, presuming a few hours should be ok...then I'll try the procedure as per the instructions to pump water to the heatslave tank.
Thanks Ian - just filled up to 1.5 bar, no luck.
Control Panel - Power Light - On, Lock Out - Off, No HW Light - when I press the button does not come on, although it is set to on.
Cheers
Thanks Ian, tried that, no luck unfortunately. There was no click when I pressed it so presume it had not tripped, any other ideas?
Cheers for the help.
