Ok chaps thanks for the advice. I'm using a Plasplugs spreader and it's got a rubber edge that's absolutely solid- no give in whatsoever. Think I'll head off to b&q instead.....

Tiling a bathroom at the moment and all the tiles are up, straight and well secured. I'm finding the grouting a slow, messy process. Is there anyone who sells grout in a tube? I could squeeze it into the gaps and wipe off the excess in no time at all, surely? Any idea's anyone?
