Not bare plaster no a decorated room with emulsion paint

I have a lot of cracks in plaster in all rooms of the house. Any advice on how best to fill them and smarten the room up without having to redecorate the whole house as I can't afford that.

Thanks I thought it would be a problem. I guess I will have to get a surveyor out to have a look and write me a report as the neighbour doen't see it as a problem and isn't prepared to take any action. Then I will have to see where I stand legally. It all sounds very expensive :-(

Hi, My 1930's semi had a porch added sometime in the 70's. The walls are single brick and the porch opens straight onto the hallway (i.e no door in between). The walls seems to suffer from very bad condensation and the plaster work is soaking wet every morning. I don't think the roof is leaking...
