Cheers for the info,I see what you mean. So if I alter the vent pipe so its sloping up and level the pump this might recify the problem. Also do you think fitting a 22mm v/f to the header tank will help???

It has a 15mm v/f to header tank which worked ok when i had the old servowarm boiler but since fitting a potterton profile had major probs with air.

cheers for the info,I will post pics over week-end and sort out some 22mm pipes. I have added some pics of my heating layout in my album if any one has any comments. can I change the 15mm feed/vent pipe to 22mm????

I am going to attempt to fit a vent pipe to the system and take it over the header tank. will I fit it before or after the pump ??? also will be using a 15mm pipe. Cheers :lol:

I previously had an old servowarm boiler,but that stopped working and I had it replaced with a potterton profile and since then I have had loads of problems with air in the syatem and the boiler shutting down. I was told that a vent pipe will solve the problem. Cheers. :)

I,ve noticed there is no vent pipe on my central heating system,which is the best place to fit it??? before the pump or after the pump??? Cheers. :(
