The bathroom tiles next to the bathroom door have come up a bit making the door scrape when opening and closing. Just one tile mainly 7mm or so but the other 2 have come up also very slightly be couple of mm.
I sanded the door down to allow it to glide over which it did for a day but...

Our single oven which is hardwired has died.
The wiring goes to a cooker socket as shown in attached pic chased in through the wall from underneath.
New oven and I think the majority on the market come with plugs, I think only a couple of budget options like kenwood at currys might...
Brush and wd40 didn't work unfortunately. Found this article which may be worth a try?

The digital programmer is lit up And working fine just the room stat that's dead. Does that mean anything by way of electrics are fine?
The stat is wired.. I tried two different types of batteries checking they are in the right way before inserting still blank and didn't go faint before disappearing that I am aware of.
I'll try cleaning the terminals with brush and wd40 as you suggest and let you know if worked.
