Thanks everyone for helping out, I will get electrician to check it out properly, and once again thanks for all you time in replying.

Everything worked fine with previous cooker and had no problems with trip's in the past, only this cooker, oven heats up fine for 5-10 min then trip goes by itself or if I add any hot plates or grill it goes straight away, but these run fine by themselves.

I really appreciate your help, I think it's probably best if I call my electrician back in who fitted the consumer unit, what do you think

I have a excel consumer unit, and just had a new cooker fitted and the trip keeps going, manual states I need a 100ma trip but the unit comes with 80amp 30ma trip, does anybody know where I can get a new 100ma trip for this unit (10way)
