    Honeywell ST7100

Hi - yes it was def fitted by a CORGI guy (got a certificate etc). He was very good and fitted new pipework ect as it was moved. He has checked it all over and is pretty sure its the electrics. It's the electrician who I am not sure about! Where will I find the motorised valve? I haven't...

    Honeywell ST7100

Many thanks for your help. I think I will do some tests to def see if it running from the themostat (I am positive the heating wasn't run off this before) and then get him back in if it is. If not....then a new programmer might be the solution.

    Honeywell ST7100

Ermm I think it is a room stat. All the rads have new Trvs and then the grey room stat (already there but had new wiring to it) was kept in the living room - without the TVRs on the rads. (Sorry I am a lady on her own and not very technical!) Is it worth getting him back in? He has already...

    Honeywell ST7100

Thanks for your reply. I can't magine why this would happen. We have kept to the gravity system, and there is new wiring to the boiler and themostat. The hot water works fine and comes on and off as it should. The heating seems to come on at the times prgrammed, but then comes on when it...

    Honeywell ST7100

I have had a new boiler installed but kept the old controller as it worked fine. Now the heating keeps coming on at different times it is set to (3am in the morning is the worst when it is so hot!). Both the plumber and electrician can't understand it which hasn't helped me much! When it...

    Leaking new flat roof

Hi, We moved into a house and the previous owner put in a new flat roof. However, this has started to leak. There is pooling of water (not running off) on the flat roof, and on the ceiling in the room below there are damp brown spots appearing. Is there anyway of repairing this or is it a...

    Quote for electrics?

I wasn't asking for a precise answer, I was asking for a rough estimate if you actually read my first post. Which I am in my rights to ask. Hissy fit??! I am not even going to stoop as low as you apparently are. In future I suggest if you haven't got anything constructive to say, don't say...

    Quote for electrics?

Thank you for your reply. Yes it is a kitchen. This guy comes highly recommended, and I wouldn't want any cowboy. I guess I am looking to pay around 2k by the sounds of it. Still seems a lot! I will await other quotes and see what happens.

    Quote for electrics?

No need to be quite so RUDE! A rough estimate is all I was asking for. Am I paying way to much, right price etc. I think I will take the other chaps advice and ask locally around, other than read a comment like that. Thank you!
