Mine does that as well! I can stop it temporarily by wiggling the drainage pipe from the basin to the soilstack. So I suspect it's just the plastic pipes moving against the wooden supports under the weight of water. I intend to fix it permanently when I replace my tiles.

Does it matter what sort of bath trap I install? Are bottle traps suitable? I have plenty of accessibility. :?
