Thanks, would that cause the ignition lockout? The lockout just occurs when the boiler is starting for the first time from cold; the bang occurs every time the ignition the boiler fires up, just before the sparking.

where can i buy one of these double poled electrodes? I'm not having much luck finding one; single poled: not a problem.
