I need 4 concrete window sills. I've been told by builders that you can buy them off the shelf and cut them to fit, but the only place i can find that sells them is in scotland, no use as i live in the south. Any ideas where i can get them?

The area i need to cover over the tiles is 6m x 2.7m. I'm not sure how deep it needs to be yet as i need to speak to building regs. At the same time i will be screeding over the main floor in the building, this is 7.3m x 4.5m and need to be about 65mm thick. I'm not sure how i will be getting...

Can i lay a concrete screed over tiles? I would lay damp proof plastic and insulation over them first, then a thin screed over the top to level the floor.

I'd thought about using paint stripper, foam eater or something similar. I'll have to chuck all sorts over it and see what happens as i need to remove all the glue for damp treating to take place. I could always use my wire wheel on my grinder.

I have some carpet that has been glued to the floor. Some bright spark in the past clearly thought this was a good idea. I can not move it at all, with 3 of us pulling it it moved about 4 inches. The carpet tears before we can do any more. Is there something i can poor over it to dissolve...
