I have the same boiler and have a similar problem. My heating is working fine but I don't get any hot water at all. Is this the diverter valve or could it be something else? Any idea of how much the part would cost if it is the diverter valve? Thanks.

I have a myson apollo fanfare boiler. There are 2 strange noises that concern me... 1. When the CH and HW is off the boiler seems to come alive every 4 minutes. It is not firing up like when the CH or HW comes on but rumbles away for about 30 seconds and then turns off but then comes on again...

Thanks - no I didn't leave it to dry becuase I thought it looked too bad next to first good piece! But I will try it again today and just leave it if it bubbles slighty and see what happens when its dry. Cheers.
