Sorry I meant a fused spur socket, never switched it off before, sorry I did now lol. I will try changing the socket as suggested and see what happens, thank you for your quick reply.

I knocked a spur switch off that my tumble dryer is connected to, and today when I went to use it, it no longer works. Have tested the dryer in another socket and all works fine. I don't usually turn the switch off so I am wondering could something have "gone" by me switching it off. I have...
