    Sleeper planter on an incline

Hi, I am looking for some advice on building a sleeper planter/small boundary round the garden. The front will be 400 (2 sleeper hight) high and then it has to step up a hill along the side of the monoblock which I roughly think it will go down to 200 high. I would like to keep it without any...

    Conservatory leak

Hi, I was at my aunts today and I seen her conservatory is leaking. I'm not sure who she's had our to look at it but she's older and I feel she is getting fobbed off. One has said they don't know and the other has said they need to apply something in the dry. I think it could be the flashing or...

    Aco drains to downpipe

Hi and apologies if this is in the wrong area. Looking for advice on my garden and a drainage problem with heavy rain and run off water. It slopes from one side of the house to the other by the thickness of a brick and from the back of the garden to the area getting wet by roughly the same or...

    Skip size or grab hire

He guys, I have a wee job lined up in the summer. This is me just starting to plan it out and organise things. I can't afford to have a landscaper out as I've just finished paying for this garden. So the question is, I'm going to be lifting the slabs and digging it out back to the original...

    Pavers laid on builders sand

I think they should be laid on a concrete bed as there is no stability in this way of doing it. In 5 years I think it's unacceptable to have them all pulled up and reset and repointed twice.

    Pavers laid on builders sand

Hi, I'm not having a go at your method. I had a professional landscaper out and laid Indian sandstone mixed size slabs on a sand base. Type 1, sharp sand and all was compressed. Two years later I had to have him out and rectify the loose slabs

    Artificial grass ?

hi..I have had artificial grass for 3 years now. I got mine from b&m and it's 35mm and tricolour. I would highly recommend it. As mentioned above, yes it can smell if animals urinate on it and not washed down afterwards. I think I've only brushed it a handful of times as it really springs back...

That's the garden there. Not the best of lines, but it would go round the tree and replace that grey kerb.

How can I space this out

Slight problem after splash back fitted. This socket sits too far in. managed fine with all the other plugs by using longers screws. What can I do to get this to come out further, do I need spacers. Thanks

Drainage in the garden under fake grass

That's good to know. I've had the odd weed that's started to grow on top of the artificial grass, but easily picked off. You really need to look for them right enough!
