is it ok to put airbricks in without putting the liners in? just knock a couple of bricks out on the inside so air can get through the airbrick and vent the joists

we had the boiler moved 20 years ago, and the person did not put a motorised valve on it. We only have this problem in the winter because obviously we use the hot water and central heating together

stat set at 65 and is strapped to center of the cylinder, when water only on the bathroom and one bedroom radiator comes on

I have a thorn central heating boiler , when using water only the water is piping hot (reasonably quick) but when using water and heating it takes alot longer to get hot and also is not as hot. Water only does not work on gravity due to it being a fair distance away from the hot water cylinder...
