Thanks for responding! How far down the drain pipe should the hose go? And as far as an air break goes: what is that and how should I set it up? Thanks a ton!

I have a stackable Kenmore Laundry Center which is having a cycle problem. The machine fills fine and goes to agitate for around 30 seconds, then drains about 3" of water, refills the water and then agitates for another 30 seconds...this whole process takes about 4-5 minutes and happens 20...
