    Dishwasher drain pump problem

Just thought I would post an update. Got a professional in in the end, turned out to be a broken wire in the door harness. As per assuhors comments above, I had looked here but couldn’t see any obvious broken wires myself. Many thanks for your advice

    Dishwasher drain pump problem

I’ve taken front cover off and had a look at the wires no obvious breaks (note to self, remember to turn off at plug when touching the inside!). There’s a load of black grime on the lower wires and the cover but they still appear intact. Should I replace the flow meter, (it will still connect...

    Dishwasher drain pump problem

Ah yes I see, that makes sense one or the other , I have managed to take off the flow meter, but can’t work out how to open it to check it, not sure it can be opened or not. May just order a new one as appear reasonably cheap and see how that goes.

Thanks for replies. I’ve tried locating a float inside but can’t see anything. From the photos can you point me in the right direction. I can’t get to the flow meter as I have put it back in place, but will take it out in a few days. Even if the flow meter had water scale would this affect the...

    Dishwasher drain pump problem

I think the water is coming from the door there is what appears an overflow tube, on the bottom corner at each side near the door. I can only assume that water is building up inside as the pump is not emptying it and when it gets to the seal height it goes through, this gets to the float lifts...

    Dishwasher drain pump problem

Can I chance a relay on a pcb myself or would I need an expert to do this? If the pump turns on and drains the dishwasher when forced by lifting the float would this negate that there could be a blockage somewhere?

    Dishwasher drain pump problem

Thank you for your reply. This is very useful. I have cleaned all the pipes I can assess before. If I lift the float the pump kicks in and the system does drain. Your post has made me realise that when water gets under the float it kicks the pump on, this I assume is because for some reason...

    Dishwasher drain pump problem

Hello, I have an integrated Beko DIN15R10 dishwasher, it stopped during the cycle and gave an error code p1 that was flashing, it sounded like the drain pump was still running but no water going into it. There was water in the tray underneath, which at the time I couldn’t work out where it was...
