Ha yea very lost :) No doubt about that!
The biggest issue was it just didnt seem to be turning off. Flicking the switch on the pump seems to have fixed that for now and we will look into getting someone in to fix it ASAP.
In the mean time will we need to keep turning the pump on and off...
So really its just an issue with the pump being faulty? Its 2 years old now, is that pretty normal for a pump to only last 2 years?
What should we do in the mean time? When should we turn the pump on and off? :S

I've had another look inside the boiler room and felt, what i think is the pump, vibrating.
I've twisted the knob on it which has stopped the noise.
