i bought a new house which had 3 aerial sockets points. i paid for a workman to fit an aerial in my loft but he said he could only find 2 cables up there. i was recently up in loft and have found the third cable. what do you suggest i use to connect it to the aerial?

i have a a-class boilermate ov and a ideal icos. i currently have no hot water. the a-class still appears to be working but the ideal icos shows no life at all. i have checked fuse box and all is well. someone suggested that there might be a trip switch situated near the icos but there is none...
