You DEFINITELY need GOOD lagging everywhere. And to be really fussy about stuff like joins, pipe clips, corners - everywhere heat escapes. Yes, definitely pump at slowest speed.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Either that was missing from my VR65, or my installer made a mistake. Certainly I have a thermostat attached to my cylinder in the manner you describe, but it's a Honeywell unit, not a Vaillant one. Cheers

You are talking about vrnetdialog. Wonderful product, if it does what they claim, but they don't offer it in the UK.
