    Filling Loop

    On a filling loop, which way do I position the tap to prevent water flowing into the boiler? ie: parallell to the pipe (pressurising the boiler?), or at right angle to the pipe (mains supply is off and boiler is not being pressurised?)

    Potterton Lynx 2 Combi Boiler - hot water isn't getting hot

    Recently had new low pressure switch fitted, now water only hot when CH is on, otherwise water is only cool - not even hot enough to wash up with! Any ideas :?:
