    How to tell which is inflow / outflow - radiators are off

    Hi Had some plastering done, radiators were removed by plasterers now I want to refit them and put a TRV on. How can I tell which pipe is the inflow or outflow now the rad is off? Is there any way? One of the pipes is open. Thanks
