    New Garage wiring

Thanks everyone for the advice. I must admit that a lot of it was way over my head. All I needed was a few different ideas I can suggest to the contractor. Thinking about it I probably do worry too much !! Great debate though ! My idea was an rcd within the house that buzzed or made...

    New Garage wiring

I'm looking into getting my garage wired in by a professional. I was thinking of putting a freezer out there and was worried that if the the garage tripped and I didn't know, the freezer would defrost if I hadn't been out there for a while Is there any way to indicate within the house that the...

Baumatic Dishwasher bottom arm not spinning

Had loads of problems with this dishwasher. Latest one is the bottom arm not spinning at all. Top one works, neither are blocked. Both spin freely. The pump seems to work ok water goes in gets pumped up to the top arm and also gets pumped out again. There are no kinks in any hoses and pressure...

    Kitchen Tap (No hot water)

The more I think the more reckon its the tap. Where would I look for an isolator valve ? I've read other thread about diaphrams going on boilers..... but also found some that say they have the same problem with the same tap. I didn't want to invest £100 in a new tap without knowing it would...

    Kitchen Tap (No hot water)

I've got a mixer tap with a pull out Spray /Rinse, Not very expensive but we can only get a trickle of warmish water through at the best. Tried 2 different ones as I thought the first one was faulty. Boiler is upstars and the bathroom taps are fine with lots of pressure. Kitchen is obivously...

    Under cabinet lights wiring

Thanks for the insight Useful. I was just wondering if I could have lights switched from a light swtich rather than a 3a fused spur into the mains...... Might have been a little more convienient.
