    Glowworm 30cxi water pressure

Thanks for your reply Alfredo. The plastic connector i mentioned is a black plastic elbow with a thread on one end. The threaded end screws into the Reduced Pressure Zone Valve and the other end clips onto the filling loop tube. As i said, the last time i re-pressurised the sytem, water spurted...

    Glowworm 30cxi water pressure

Due to continued problems I have had between glowworm and the installer, the outcome basically meant that we didnt have any hot water! The previous engineer who visited showed me how to clean the Heat Exchanger as this seems to be the problem! Having done this myself a third time, i sprung a...

GLOW WORM 30CXI BOILER - NUMEROUS PROBLEMS

Here we go again. It has been 4-5 months since an Engineer had to attend my boiler, which is the longest it's run without a problem! I guess that is because i haven't actually had the central heating on, just the hot water. As soon as i put the central heating on two day's ago -guess...

    Glow-worm exchange plate

Thanks for your replies, but we are going round in circles. The installer is known to me and has flushed the brand new system three times. He is a corgi registed installer for 20 years. If he says he has flushed the system properly then he has. We have a collection of heat exchangers now 7 to...

    Glow-worm exchange plate

sorry I dont know the flow rate I have passed your comments on to my husband who has posted previous questions, who knows more than myself. Apparently glow worm have now telephoned again and have been in touch with the engineer who came yesterday and he thinks it is definitely a pump problem...

    Glow-worm exchange plate

the water starts off red hot but then goes cold with fault flashing. The pressure is the same as it always has been. No the engineer has never left a job sheet nor filled in our log sheet we just received a phone call this morning to say he has ordered a new pump!

    Glow-worm exchange plate

Thanks ollski you took the words right out of my mouth. The exchange plate actually says 'TOP' at the top. So the bottom is opposite! The radiators are working fine. It is not a flushing problem. Even though some of you don't want to believe that for some reason! The colour of the debris is...

    Glow-worm exchange plate

I have actually found the exchange plate that was previously taken off and the debris is definately coming out of the bottom not the top! The top is clear. Can anyone explain that one?

    Glow-worm exchange plate

If that is the case how come the central heating is working fine, but we have no hot water? Also the system is brand new ,radiators and boiler, would there be much debris in the system anyway?
