    Drywall adhesive prior to tiling

Hi all I've just used drywall adhesive to fill some quite large areas in between a worktop and window before tiling. Its an inch deep in some parts, about half a metre wide, 15CM high. How long will I have to wait for it to dry out before I can tile over it? Also, should I use a primer before...

    How much plasterboard adhesive?

Thanks for all your advice - has definitely helped me make my mind up what to do here... I think I'm going to batten the walls as adam1984 suggests. How much plasterboard adhesive?

Thanks for all the replies. Adam1984 - I noticed that some of the manufacturers give a coverage guide, but they don't state at what thickness that coverage is, and its unclear to me if they mean 4.6m2 of unbroken adhesive or 4.6m2 of boards done with dot and dab, and if so how many dabs per...

I want it to stand 1/2 inch proud of the wall (got 25mm back boxes so wanting adhesive plus plasterboard to total 25mm and be flush with the back boxes). Could anyone advise how many bags of...

    Ceiling Void Air Brick

Thanks for your reply tony1851. There's actually an external wall at either end of the room, and ideally I'd like to put an air brick in both walls, but the back external wall has a piece of timber attached to the outside with guttering attached to that, so I'd have to remove the whole lot to...

    Ceiling Void Air Brick

Hi all, I'm currently renovating an outhouse 8M2 with a flat concrete roof covered with roofing felt. I've constructed a timber stud ceiling approx 6" below the internal roof height. This is made from 2x3 CLS studs at 400mm centres, with noggins between each. This will be covered with...
