Anyone used DAVICO crimpers?
Just bought some from TLC but haven't used em yet.
I'm after a good pair for crimping non-insulated copper lugs but haven't found a decent set yet.

I'd give it back to your customer and ask them to pay you so much a month over a few separate tax years - Give free credit if you like.
The wait shouldn't bother you since you have already said you don't really need the money.
You have quoted from the Approved Document - which is for guidance only and which has no legal status.
Where does it state that notification is a legal requirement in the STATUTORY INSTRUMENT?
Have you factored in the scam fees over 52 weeks?
Have you factored in the time for lost earnings during days wasted due to assessments/inpsections?
Have you factored in fuel use and vehicle wear and tear driving to and from assessments/inspections?
Have you factored in the time taken...
"...the work is notifiable to building control as its alteration work not like for like."
Yeah, but nobody bothers with that do they.
It means you have to pay another council 'stealth tax'.

What is the length of the run? - I'd use HR flex insde the trunking. No reg against using flex as fixed-wiring.
I'd also use a means of local isolation via an FCU rather than an unswitched flex outlet.

Nope! Sadly they can't afford me!
:D :D :D :D :D
BTW - You stitched up Mr Seaface-whatever-he-calls-himself very nicely!
My congrats (Although I'd expect nothing less from you!)
It's about time that the mass populace earnestly learnt the difference in status between the Building...
"OOI, what then is your opinion of professional electricians who conspire with their customers to overcome the system of LABC notification?"
Surely not!
I'm sincerely intrigued as to whom BAS is referring!
Ferk em!

Check that you haven't cross L & N over on the new switch -
Red (brown?) goes to L
Black (blue?) goes to N
Red to shower (brown?) goes to L-LOAD
Black to shower (blue?) goes to N-LOAD.
Seen this happen before - neon goes weird if lines are crossed over.
