    Tools to mortise

    Is there any tool like a router to mortise the lock out without having to chisel and drill the hole. It just takes quite a long time to drill out 4\\\" of solid wood, and then chisel out the leftovers. Thanks Robert

    I eventually found that there was a gate value in the system that had broken and couldn't be opened - I replaced it with a 310 [don't really need a gate valve] - everything works. Thanks for the suggestions. Robert

    Thanks for the reply. I have tried turning off all radiators except one - no joy. I am sure there is no sludge in the system - because when the radiators were removed, I ran water through them - to clean them out. I got some black water - no sludge. Any other suggestions?? Robert

    How do you know if the worm is leaking

    Some people call the coil within the hot tank a worm - because it winds around like a worm. I'll give the suggestions a try - thanks guys Rob

    I needed to drain the central heating system. I cut off the water supply and drained the small tank in the attic - and drained all of the water our of the system. However there is still a trickle of water getting into the pipes. I think that the worm in the airing cupboard tank is leaking...
