I don't think I would have the confidence to do that either to be honest. The cherry picker hire is not a bad idea at all. I wonder how many people are adopting this approach instead of the traditional ladder. Are you going to go for it and get the cat ladder?
That was a really good response, cheers for that Daniel. I had a similar query but it's dealt with now. I have hired an access platform this year for fitting the Christmas lights to the house as I couldn't risk slipping across the guttering like last year. Have you heard of people doing this...
Hey there, access platforms can be a pretty tricky one to decide on if you have never hired one before. There is a really useful guide on access platforms/cherry pickers here: http://www.universalplatforms.co.uk/universal-access-guide
Hi, this sounds interesting and I hope someone jumps in to answer your question here. Would you mind telling me how you get on your roof and how hard of a job it is working at that height? Thanks in advance
That is very interesting about the 4 year rule on having the work done without PP. I had imagined you would be liable but that has put my mind at ease. Do you have a source you could link me to on this law? Thanks
Hi Jason,
I had a similar query and was looking into access platforms recently, I will keep an eye on the responses here and let me know how much you end up paying. Thanks - Tom
Are you trying to find out where to get Rosemary tiles from? Sounds like a nice little project you got going here, when are you estimating it to be complete?
